2004 Chrysler ME 412 from Motormax,

 I was able to retain this 2004 Chyrsler ME Four-Twelve concept car from my 1/18 collection days over 10 years ago. I found it wrapped in an old shirt in one of my closet drawers 

Original out of the box,  Looked good but the bling bling on the tyre rims just had to go

Painted the tyre rim center black

Crafted a more detailed lone wiper

Padded the interiors a bit

Detailed a rather bland engine 

Posed it against my mechanic shop diorama

A BMW 635 CSI from Autoart 1/18

 This was my favorite BMW model i miss so much.  Enhanced the wiper and posed it for a camera scoot using a large colored sheet just below a window for lighting

Detaiing a Bburgao 1/18 Bugatti EB110

Just like the Bburago Ferrari 288GTO, the brand's Bugatti EB110 lent itself to significant detailing to make it look more respectable as a model. I just wish  it had a better paint finish as I did hot have the time to re-gloss. here are photos of my major modification. 

Here's what did to the windshield wiper
I fashioned some plastics  working over the stub that bburago placed on the windshield, and based on the photo of  the real thing online. 

Next was detailing the engine

The windows badly needed some fake glass works and trim while painting the A-post and side mirrors black.  Modified the interiors with flat black over some plasticky sheen on the stock model. Also added seatbelts

One of the distinct pleasures of collecting 1/18 models is that they are quite photogenic even under normal window light (afternoon).  Love those flared captured by my DLSR with its standard lens.   Here's a 1/18 Lamborghini Mucielago from Autoart I bought back in 2008
