Seldom do I get three variants of the same model. The 11955 Chevy Nomad happens to be one of my favorites, and this 1/64 scale from Greenlight is one of these
A fleeting fancy on the most beautiful cars I can never afford...except for those destined on the shelf. Just a little indulgence on the imagination. More of a fantasy that goes under my camera all the time.

1965 Volkswagen Type 3 from Greenlight
Greenlight was a revelation when I first saw its 1/64 range online last year. It essentially rivaled the detailing of the more expensive M2 brand I started collecting back in 2005. Here are a couple of the 1965 Volkswagen Type 3 station wagons. The one in flat black was just too good to resist.

1948 Ford Woody Station Wagon from a 1/43 Road Signature
Just arrived the other day a 1/43 scale model from the Road Signature brand. Respectable craftsmanship withe good detailing for the modest price point. I just silvered the door handles and hinges but it is open to many detailing enhancements - something I can do in the days ahead. Notice also the absence of windshield wipers and chrome trims when compared to the real thing.

The real 1938 Ford Woody of the same body color.
