Th Cadillac marque is among my favorites among American cars. Here is the longest 1/64 car in my collection , the 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz 2-door hardtop.
A fleeting fancy on the most beautiful cars I can never afford...except for those destined on the shelf. Just a little indulgence on the imagination. More of a fantasy that goes under my camera all the time.

1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Hardtop from M2
A 1955 Chrysler Desoto Fireflite 2-door hardtop
My first exposure to the brand M2 Machines from Crestline, Inc was a memorable moment as it opened my awareness to the fact the a 1/64 model could be well-detailed. I have been a Matchbox collector since I can remember years and during that time, I never really warmed up to its level of detailing. Until I saw an M2 1/64 true scale model. The brand takes care of a line of replicas of 1940s-1960s cars often with white-side wall tires I never saw in a matchbox of model in the period, their models witj opening doors included window parts and interiors not found in it as well.
Here is the 1955 Chrysler Desoto Fireflite. The pictures speak for its detail quality.
The real thing
