1938 Lagonda LG6 Drophead Coupe from IXO Museum series

This is a true-to-scale model that is not only well-crafted, but is also well-detailed and with a metal die cast body and underchassis -a rarity in most 1/43 scale models.  Most use cheaper plastic underbody including the highly respected Paul's Model Art of Minichamps.

The really unique feature of this this model is its use of a an etched metal wiper arm that gives it a more realistic look/illusion compared with the thick wiper arms of most in this scale. the chrome finishes are just perfect, including the set of buttons to hold down the leather top. I can just detail the interior a bit

Side by side with another highly detailed model, a 1935 German Horch 853-A Cabriolet from Minichamps posted here earlier. These two die casts represent the most precise 1.43 models in my collection. My only caveat is that the Minichamps has a plastic undercarriage. But as far as detailing is concerned, they are the best at their price points.
Here are photos of the real 1938 Lagonda Drophead Coupe taken from online sources.  Its history is best captured here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lagonda_LG6
